Rabbits and hares are connected with the moon and so they run full circle with her cycles. The rabbit talks to us about conception, conceiving new ideas and holding them in our fertile minds and hearts until they are ready to give birth in their own perfect timing (just as the moon would have it). Rabbits are burrowers and their deep, maze-like tunnels symbolize connections with primal energy as well as Mother Earth energies.

See Whispers From The Woods oracle deck and companion book for more information on the meaning behind the rabbit.

The Rabbit in the Grasses mug features and hand shaped rabbit nestled in among hand painted and carved grasses. This wheel thrown mug is hand decorated with layers of different glazes and liquid gold and takes many weeks to create.

Found in a place with magic in the air, where misty mornings gather dew on mossy rocks and sunlight forms dappled shadows under the trees. The animals in this wood hear the whispering of the ancients as their lives intertwine through the passing seasons.

Approximate dimensions- height 10cm / diameter 8cm

These items are handmade at every stage in the making process and so each is unique. From creating the form, to hand making each batch of glaze, to hand carving and hand painting the designs, many variances are found at each stage of the process. Each piece is mindfully created in my studio over a number of weeks, with each finished piece having its own subtle differences. That is the beauty of handmade. These photos are a representation of the piece from this collection you will receive.
