Our smudge stick is a unique combination containing three sacred plants from the indigenous American medicine wheel - White Sage, Cedar and Sweetgrass. These herbs represent South, North and West. Smudging this blend is known to send you protection, positivity and renewal, attract angels and spirit guides to watch over and protect you.

The selected herbs are organically grown on Draper Farm North West of Brisbane, then are picked, dried and bundled with much love and care, just for you. Our smudge sticks are tightly bundled, giving them a slow and consistent burn and making them much easier to stub out. You will get many uses out of each smudge stick.
Smudging has been used by many cultures across the world to clear away negative energies. It involves the burning of sacred herbs to produce smoke. This smoke is used to cleanse the energy of your home, workplace or even your body.
Light the end of the smudge stick so that it is smouldering. Traditionally the cleansing smoke was fanned by a feather, but you can simply use your hand. If you want to produce more smoke blow on the smouldering end.
Maintain positive thoughts as you smudge. A simple smudging prayer or affirmation you could use is ‘I love this space.’
You don’t need a lot of smoke but you want a little smoke to reach all areas of your home. Walk into the corners of each room. Waft the smoke behind doors, under beds and around furniture.
Stub out smudge stick in sand or we Will soon have a vessel especially for that purpose. Ensure you thoroughly extinguish your bundle.

For thousands of years Cedar has been burnt in sacred temples for cleansing ceremonies for purification, protection and grounding. The smoke of burning cedar is said to attract the good spirits and eliminate negative energies It is often used to cleanse a home when first moving in, inviting unwanted spirits to leave and protecting a person, place or object from unwanted influences.
Sweetgrass is burnt to enhance happiness, open heartedness and harmony, it is known by indigenous people as a a releasing ritual, as once you release what no longer serves you, it will help to invite positive energies into your life. It is actually a type of grass also known as holy grass, vanilla grass, bison grass or buffalo grass known to symbolise kindness because it bends and doesn’t break in aboriginal culture its smoke is believed to purify thoughts, the environment and to eliminate bad or negative thoughts.
White sage –
White Sage has been used for centuries it is known as the best herb for protection and purification warding off evil spirits. White sage contains antibacterial properties and is known to clear aerial bacteria and clears negative energies from spaces, people or objects. .
